Closed-loop control
Designed for closed-loop applications. The amplifier compares command to feedback and drives the servo valve coil at the right current to close the loop.
Made by NC Servo Technology Since 1975
The NCSA-110-300 is NC Servo's own general-purpose servo amplifier card. Adjustable output current up to 250ma, voltage or 4-20ma I/O on both command and feedback, a built-in 500 Hz dither oscillator, and a regulated +/-15V supply for feedback sensors at the terminal strip. Designed to drop into closed-loop applications where the servo valve needs current-output drive, including many valves we already service from Moog, Parker, Bosch Rexroth, Vickers, and others.
At a Glance
The four specs below are the ones customers ask about first. Full electrical and mechanical details are in the documentation that ships with each unit.
What It Is
The NCSA-110-300 is built for closed-loop hydraulic servo valve control where the valve needs current-output drive and a closed feedback loop. It accepts the most common command and feedback signal types and lets the integrator dial in the loop on three independent gain adjustments.

Clearly labeled test points and components throughout the board layout. Standard test equipment connects directly at the terminal strip.
NC Servo Technology has built and supported the NCSA-110-300 line since 1975. We make it, we stock it, and we know how to integrate it.
Servo Valve Compatibility
The NCSA-110-300 is designed to drive servo valves that take a current-output command, up to 250ma. The brands below are the ones the shop services regularly, and the NCSA fits closed-loop applications across all of them. Application fit depends on the specific valve, feedback type, and integration details.
Up Close
The NCSA-110-300 is a single-board servo amplifier with the transformer, capacitors, terminal block, and trim potentiometers all visible from the top. The views below show the layout and give you a sense of the test points and adjustment access.
Tunable Loop
The NCSA-110-300 gives the integrator three trim points to dial in the closed loop. The adjustment ranges are wide enough to handle most current-output servo valve applications without needing custom rework.
Adjustable from 2:1. Sets how strongly the feedback signal counters the command. Use to tune the loop response to the specific feedback sensor.
Adjustable from 200:1. Scales the command reference signal to match the servo valve's drive range. Use to fit a specific valve into a given command range.
Adjustable from 200:1. Sets the loop's response to the error signal. Use to tune the closed-loop dynamics for the application.

The NCSA-110-300 is a general-purpose amplifier compatible with many current-output servo valve applications requiring closed loop control. It works with many servo valves from Moog, Parker, Bosch Rexroth, Vickers, and other manufacturers that require current output drive (up to 250ma). Application fit depends on electrical requirements, feedback type, and integration details. Give us a call to confirm compatibility before installation.
Yes. As shipped, the NCSA-110-300 has adjustable output current from 0ma to 100ma. With a simple component change documented in the manual, you can increase the maximum output to 250ma.
The NCSA-110-300 accepts both voltage and current signals for command and feedback inputs. Specifically, it supports plus or minus 10V voltage signals or 4-20ma current signals for both the command reference input and feedback input.
The built-in 500 Hz dither oscillator improves servo valve performance by reducing static friction and improving response to small command signals.
Yes. The NCSA-110-300 includes a regulated plus or minus 15V power supply output at 200ma capacity, available directly at the terminal strip.
The NCSA-110-300 offers three adjustable parameters: feedback gain adjustable from 2:1, reference span adjustable from 200:1, and proportional error gain adjustable from 200:1.
In many cases yes, depending on application requirements. The flexible input options, adjustable output current, and wide gain adjustment ranges let it substitute for legacy amplifiers in many current-output servo valve applications. Give us a call with the unit you are looking to replace and we can confirm fit.
