Third-Party Repair of Joucomatic Solenoid Valves & Pressure Switches

Independent third-party repair of Joucomatic solenoid hardware: 833-series solenoid valves (including 833 352101010 and 833 354101010) and Joucomatic pressure switches. French solenoid heritage now under the ASCO line. Solenoid valves only; Joucomatic does not make servo or proportional valves. Backed by a 19,000+ unit in-house inventory we pull aftermarket and donor parts from. NC Servo is not affiliated with Joucomatic, ASCO, or Emerson Electric. Working on this kind of hardware since 1975.

What This Brand Actually Is

Joucomatic is solenoid valves, not servo

We get this question often enough that it is worth pinning down. Joucomatic is a French solenoid valve and pressure switch line. It does not make servo or proportional valves. The bench work here is solenoid coil and seal work, not the closed-loop servo work we do for brands like Moog or Atos.

  • Solenoid valves with on/off coil actuation and standard pressure ranges.
  • Pressure switches with calibrated set points and electrical contacts.
  • The 833 series is the most common Joucomatic line we see on the bench.
  • Now part of the ASCO line under Emerson; older Joucomatic-branded units are still common.

Service Coverage

What NC Servo does with a Joucomatic unit

Each Joucomatic unit is opened, inspected, and rebuilt at the component level. Failed parts come from inventory or off donor units, then the unit is verified before it ships back.

833-series solenoid valves

Coil rebuild, seal kit, body cleaning, and cooling-fin inspection on Joucomatic 833 solenoid valves. Bench testing at rated voltage and pressure.

Pressure switches

Calibration, contact replacement, and pressure-range verification on Joucomatic pressure switches across 0-10 bar and other ranges.

Joucomatic Coverage

Joucomatic part numbers through the door

We are a small repair shop, not a Joucomatic distributor. The categories below are simply what comes through often enough to be familiar. If your part number is not on this list, send it anyway. We work on what we can.

833 352101010 Joucomatic 833-series solenoid valve. Black aluminum body with cooling fins, silver metal base, red connector, and threaded port.
833 354101010 Joucomatic 833-series pressure switch variant. 0-10 bar range, 24V/1.4A operation, CE marked, with labeled connection points.
Other Joucomatic units Other Joucomatic and ASCO Joucomatic solenoid valves and pressure switches. Send the part number; we work backwards from there.

Common Faults

What usually shows up on a Joucomatic repair

A description of the symptom helps the diagnosis, but a part number is often enough. The categories below cover the kinds of trouble that come in across Joucomatic solenoid valves and pressure switches.

Coil and electrical Burned solenoid coil, open windings, damaged red connector, or failed coil insulation on the 833-series valves.
Body and seals Seal failure, contamination scoring on the poppet seat, sticky valve action, or internal leakage past the spool / poppet.
Pressure switch contacts Worn or pitted electrical contacts, bellows fatigue on the pressure-sensing element, and calibration drift on the set point.
Physical condition Heat damage from undersized cooling, corroded connectors, damaged housing, or evidence of prior repair attempts.

Repair Path

From part number to ship-back

Most Joucomatic jobs follow the same four steps. Lead time varies because some repairs need parts pulled off a donor unit, so we only commit to timing once a tech has the unit on the bench.

Get in touch

Phone or email with the Joucomatic 833 part number, a quick note on the symptom, and a photo of the label if it helps.

Bench review

Once the unit arrives, a tech opens it, inspects coil and seals or pressure-switch contacts, and runs it on the bench to confirm what failed.

Cost & approval

We call back with the cost and a rough turnaround. Nothing happens without your sign-off.

Repair, test, ship

Failed components are replaced from inventory or off donors, the unit is verified at rated voltage and pressure, and it ships back.

Bench Verification

Each Joucomatic unit gets verified before ship

Repaired Joucomatic valves and pressure switches are tested at rated voltage and pressure before they leave. Coil current draw, valve actuation, switch set points, and seal integrity are all verified.

  • Coil current and voltage verified at rated specifications.
  • Valve actuation and closure timing checked across the operating pressure range.
  • Pressure switch set point checked and adjusted on the bench. Functional verification only — not a traceable calibration certificate.
  • Internal and external leakage checked after seal kit replacement.

Inventory & Parts Pool

A 19,000+ unit pool with Joucomatic hardware in it

NC Servo's in-house inventory holds over 19,000 valves and drives accumulated since 1975, including Joucomatic 833 solenoid valves and pressure switches. That pool is where the shop pulls aftermarket parts and donor components for older Joucomatic units.

  • Aftermarket and donor parts for Joucomatic 833 solenoid valves and pressure switches.
  • If we have a rebuilt match for your part number, trade in your old unit for a discount on the rebuilt.
  • No match on the shelf? We can suggest a comparable Joucomatic, ASCO, or cross-brand option, or repair yours.
  • Rebuilt units carry the same 1-year warranty as a fresh repair.

Joucomatic 833 valve down?

Give us a call with the 833 part number off the yellow label and a quick description of whether the valve is failing to open, failing to close, or showing pressure-switch issues. We will check the shelf, and if we have a rebuilt match you can swap your old one for a discount.

FAQ

Common questions about Joucomatic repair

A few things customers ask before sending a unit in. Anything not covered, give us a call at 734-326-6666.

Is NC Servo affiliated with Joucomatic, ASCO, or Emerson?

No. NC Servo Technology is an independent, third-party repair facility and is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Joucomatic, ASCO, Emerson Electric, or any related entities. All Joucomatic and ASCO trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

Is Joucomatic still its own brand?

Joucomatic was a French solenoid valve maker now part of the ASCO line under Emerson. Hardware in the field still carries the Joucomatic name (especially the 833 series), and we work on those alongside any current ASCO Joucomatic units.

Do you make servo or proportional valves?

Joucomatic is a solenoid valve and pressure switch line, not servo or proportional. We service the solenoid valves and pressure switches; if you have an actual servo or proportional valve from a different brand, see our valve hub for the right page.

Which Joucomatic models do you cover?

Joucomatic 833-series solenoid valves (including 833 352101010 and 833 354101010) and Joucomatic pressure switches across various pressure ranges and electrical specifications. Send a part number to confirm coverage on anything not listed.

How long does a Joucomatic repair take?

It varies. NC Servo is a small independent shop, and lead time depends on the unit, what is wrong with it, and whether parts have to come off a donor. Give us a call once the unit ships in, and we can give a current estimate after a tech has looked at it.

What if the Joucomatic valve is beyond economic repair?

If the valve is not fixable, we will let you know and help source a replacement: a rebuilt match if we have one on the shelf, or a comparable Joucomatic, ASCO, or cross-brand alternative.

What is the warranty on a Joucomatic repair?

One year on parts and workmanship for repairs and rebuilt units. Standard exclusions apply for contamination, improper installation, and out-of-spec operation.
